This invitation came during a courtesy meeting with Ambassador of Switzerland Georg Steiner at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.\r\n\r\nDuring the meeting, Dar emphasized Pakistan\u2019s strong interest in bolstering ties with Switzerland, highlighting the potential for expanded cooperation in various areas such as trade, investment, climate initiatives, tourism, and migration.\r\n\r\nDar praised the existing presence of Swiss companies in Pakistan and urged more Swiss businesses to explore investment opportunities, especially in the burgeoning renewable energy and IT sectors.\r\n\r\nThe Foreign Minister also referenced the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Disaster Management signed between Pakistan and Switzerland last year. He expressed optimism that this agreement would enhance collaboration, leveraging technology and expertise to effectively manage natural calamities in the future.\r\n\r\nApart from bilateral economic relations, the discussion also touched upon regional dynamics and multilateral issues of mutual interest.\r\n\r\nThe meeting highlighted the ongoing positive engagement between Pakistan and Switzerland, with regular interactions and diplomatic exchanges.
