According to Musadr\u2019s green finance framework the funds will be used to fully invest in new greenfield renewable energy projects. The bond has two tranches of $500 million each, 5 and 10 year tenors and 4.875% and 5.25% coupons respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The order book was $4.6bn, 4.6x oversubscribed. 70% was allocated to international investors and 30% to MENA investors. Joint lead managers and bookrunners were First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Citibank, HSBC, Standard Chartered, Credit Agricole CIB, Natixis and MUFG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In June 2024 Masdar entered into a definitive agreement with GEK TERNA SA and other shareholders of TERNA ENERGY SA to purchase 67% of the company\u2019s outstanding shares upon completion of the transaction.
