The newest black bifacial anti-glare solar modules from Solitek combine improved energy yield, glare reduction for sensitive areas, and a sleek appearance.

Solitek Presents Revolutionary Anti-Glare Solar Modules

A new range of black bifacial anti-glare solar modules, designed to minimise reflectivity and optimise power generation, has been introduced by Lithuanian solar manufacturer Solitek, marking a major advancement in solar technology. The July 2025 announcement represents a significant breakthrough in solar panel design, especially for installations in high-visibility or sensitive environments.

These modules are appropriate for use close to highways, airports, and residential areas where glare reduction is crucial because they are not only built for performance but also with safety and aesthetics in mind.

The Significance of Anti-Glare Solar Technology

Large-scale solar deployments have long been concerned about glare. Intense reflections from standard solar modules can cause air traffic disruptions, blind drivers, and general safety risks.

This problem is directly addressed by Solitek’s anti-glare solar modules. The panels greatly lessen the amount of light reflected off their surfaces by using darker materials and specialised glass treatments.

“Anti-glare solar technology has become an essential feature for solar systems near sensitive areas,” said Julius Sakalauskas, CEO of Solitek. “Our new bifacial modules offer the dual benefit of reduced reflection and increased energy output.”

The New Black Bifacial Modules’ Features

The impressive features of Solitek’s new anti-glare modules are designed to satisfy both practical and aesthetic requirements.

1. Glass that doesn’t reflect

The anti-reflective coating, which helps reduce glare while maintaining high levels of light transmission into the solar cells, is the module’s most distinctive feature.

2. Design of Bifacial Structures

By absorbing reflected and ambient light, the bifacial structure allows the modules to produce power from both the front and back sides, increasing the overall energy yield by up to 11% under optimal circumstances.

3. Stylish Black Surface

The modules’ all-black design, which includes black backsheets and frames, gives them a sleek, contemporary appearance that goes well with modern architecture.

4. Glass-Glass Structure

The modules have a longer operational life because they are made with sturdy double-glass layers that are extremely resistant to mechanical stress and weather.

Perfect for Urban Installations, Roads, and Airports

The use of these new modules in glare-sensitive areas is among their most promising features. For example, airports have historically been wary of solar installations close by because of the possibility of reflection interference with air traffic control towers and pilot vision.

The issue is lessened with these anti-glare solar modules. Municipal developers and infrastructure planners have already expressed interest in the technology.

The issue is lessened with these anti-glare solar modules. Municipal developers and infrastructure planners have already expressed interest in the technology.

“We’re already seeing strong demand from transportation hubs and urban planners,” said a Solitek representative. “The ability to combine energy generation with visual discretion is a major win.”

Sustainability and Energy Efficiency

Sustainable manufacturing has always been a priority for Solitek, and this release is no different. Recyclable materials and 100% renewable energy are used in the production of the anti-glare bifacial modules.

The modules have a carbon footprint of 400 kg CO₂/kWp, which is much less than the industry average, according to the company.

“We’re not only innovating in performance but also in sustainability,” noted Sakalauskas. “Our panels are made with circular economy principles at the core.”

Information & Details

The following are some important performance metrics for the new modules:

  • Maximum Power Output: 410 Wp
  • Efficiency: More than 21 percent
  • Bifacial Gain: 5–11% based on the reflectivity of the ground
  • Temperature Range for Operation: -40°C to +85°C
  • Weight: about 24 kg
  • Warranty: 20-year product warranty and 30-year performance warranty

The new modules from Solitek are positioned at the top end of the residential and commercial solar markets thanks to these specifications.

Increasing Interest in Anti-Glare Solar Products

The solar industry is changing quickly on a global scale. According to an IEA report from 2024, solar photovoltaics (PV) made up almost 60% of new renewable capacity globally, with demand rising in areas with a lot of infrastructure and urban areas.

Anti-glare solar technologies are becoming more of a need than a luxury in these situations.

According to renewable energy analyst Tomas Ziedas, “safety and aesthetics are as important as efficiency in high-density urban environments.” “Solitek’s new modules do a great job of striking that balance.”

Invented and produced in Europe

An Advancement in a Smarter and Safer Solar Future

With the introduction of these black bifacial anti-glare solar modules, Solitek establishes itself as a major force in the high-end solar market. They are paving the way for more integrated solar adoption in areas that were previously difficult to accommodate solar infrastructure by addressing both performance and social impact.

Solitek’s most recent product demonstrates that solar can be both practical and fashionable, whether it is used for residential homes, commercial rooftops, highway medians, or airport perimeters.

About Solitek

Solitek, a European solar technology company founded in 2009, is renowned for its innovations in glass-glass photovoltaic modules, green manufacturing, and the concepts of the circular economy. With installations in North America, Asia, and Europe, the company is still at the forefront of developing next-generation solar solutions.

Concluding remarks

The demand for flexible, secure, and effective solar technology is higher than ever as the world’s energy transition quickens. The black bifacial anti-glare solar modules from Solitek provide a prompt solution that tackles practical issues and produces high-performance results.

The company makes a strong statement with this launch: solar energy can be powerful, practical, and elegantly unobtrusive.
