The Sindh government will distribute 200,000 solar panels in August in collaboration with the World Bank.
Nasir Hussain Shah said We are trying to introduce a policy to provide cheap electricity in Sindh Announcing the move, the provincial energy minister.
Hussain Shah said that they are also considering providing 300 units of free electricity for which support is required from the federal government.
It is the vision of the PPP to provide cheaper electricity to people. We will also launch a programme of solar parks and e-bikes, he added.
Shah is focused on the fact that the province has allocated funds for 500,000 solar panels in its budget.
